vertical lathes

Danobat vertical lathe machines vs. other brands

Danobat vertical lathes

Danobat vertical lathes

On a continuous challenge of innovation, the Danobat Vertical Turning Centre (VTC) is a world reference. First class parts are used in our Danobat Vertical Lathes for high precision machinig, low cycle time and maintenance costs as well as a lower energy consumption than other brands.

The cinematic chain of the Danobat Vertical Lathes is designed to increase the efficiency of all the machining processes. All the power and torque of the main motor is transmitted to the main spindle without belt slides over the pulleys. The spindle speed and performance is controlled by a high quality encoder for the the C axis. This encoder allows very high positioning accuracy and repeatability. To ensure the quality of all our machines, Danobat performs laser tests on all produced vertical lathes assuring high quality results. The gearbox, developed entirely by Danobat technology, has inmediate availability with Danobat stock in case of damage. This cinematic chain allows a support of 105 kW with perfect performance and long machine life. Read more

Vertical lathes hydrostatic technology

VTC-6000H with hydrostatic tecnology

VTC-6000H with hydrostatic tecnology

DANOBAT offers the VTC-H range to meet market demands for large diameters vertical turning centres. Hydrostatic technology plays a major role in this range of Danobat vertical lathes. This technology, based on hydrostatic movement, is used mostly on large machines and for precise applications.

Hydrostatic technology is applied to the following items:

  • The hydrostatic slideways are used on the X and Z axes.
  • The table is supported and centred by means of (axial and radial) hydrostatic bearings. Read more

Talleres Allus opts for DANOBAT for large part machining

Danobat VTC

Danobat VTC

Talleres Allus, a company devoted to large part precision machining, has put its trust in Danobat for the turning and milling of large parts in sectors such as offshore-wind, oil, aerospace and capital goods.

We are dealing with a multifunction vertical lathe VTC-8000-H, an extraordinarily large machine, unique within the large machining sector. Read more

Soraluce will celebrate the 22nd Open House

Soraluce-Bimatec

Soraluce-Bimatec

The BIMATEC-SORALUCE OPEN HOUSE is held annually since 1990 in Limburg (Germany), with the attendance of customers from all over Germany and German-East Europe plus the visits and collaboration of usual suppliers and other partners.

During the OPEN HOUSE, seven latest generation and technologically advanced machines will be exhibited; six milling-boring machines and one vertical lathe, all of them machining different applications.

The new vertical lathe presented at the DANOBAT Technical Conference

Vertical Lathe Precission Demonstration

Vertical Lathe Precission Demonstration

Danobat vertical lathes opened its doors at the technical workshops held earlier this year to present the VTC-H range. During this conference, in several demonstrations, the guests witnessed the latest state of the art in the manufacture of vertical lathes.

The precision of the  Danobat vertical lathes was evidenced through in situ testing, as well as geometric verification testing, axis alignments; NASS and BOLL-BAR precision machining stood out the most during the technical conferences. Hydrostatic technology was also shown through a real test on a hydrostatic table bearing 120 tons. Read more
